The Public Prosecution Service decided to prosecute the individuals thought to be responsible for the crash of flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine. Public prosecutors will serve writs of summons on the suspects.

The writ of summons is an order instructing individuals to appear before the court. The summons states the suspects’ names and the charges. It also states which court will hear the case, the date on which the proceedings will start and the location of the hearings. The hearings in the MH17 trial will take place at Schiphol Judicial Complex (JCS) in Badhoevedorp.
