his briefing will take place from 13.00 to 16.00 hours at Schiphol Judicial Complex (JCS) in Badhoevedorp, the location at which the hearings will take place from 9 March next year. The media briefing will be conducted in Dutch, and all information will be interpreted into English.

Interested media may communicate their wish to be invited to the media briefing by sending an e-mail to registration.courtmh17@rechtspraak.nl by 24 November at the latest. In response, you will receive a link to an accreditation system, which you may use to register. Attendance at the media briefing is contingent on accreditation.

Media briefing content

At the media briefing, the court will explain the schedule for the first hearing dates, opportunities for newsgathering, the accreditation system, procedural protocol, press guidelines, rules and regulations and other logistic matters, such as access to the JCS, transport and (technical) facilities. There will also be a guided tour and a visit to the courtroom, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about the topics above. For the sake of clarity, it is specified that no statements will be made or questions answered regarding the substance of the case. Recording the media briefing and the subsequent guided tour on video or audio is prohibited.

In the wake of the media briefing, parts of the substantive information conveyed will be posted by the District Court of The Hague on this website.
